Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 April 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how the Qiz mobile application ("Qiz", "the app", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app.
Who we are
Qiz is developed and operated by LogGameLab. For any question regarding this policy or your data, you can contact us at support@qiz.education.
Information we collect
Qiz is designed to require as little personal information as possible. The information we handle falls into the following categories:
- Anonymous account identifier. When you first open the app, an anonymous Firebase Authentication account is created for you. It is not linked to your name, email, or any other personal identifier unless you explicitly connect a Google or Apple account.
- Gameplay data. Your quiz history, statistics, skill ratings, and in-app preferences are stored locally on your device and synchronized with our servers so you can continue playing across sessions and devices.
- Crash and diagnostic data. When the app crashes or encounters an error, technical information (device model, operating system version, stack trace, app version) is sent to Firebase Crashlytics to help us identify and fix bugs. This data does not include personal content.
- Advertising identifier. When ads are shown, Google AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier to serve relevant ads and measure their performance, as described in Google's privacy policies.
How we use the information
- To let you save progress and sync across sessions and devices.
- To compute ratings, rankings, and statistics within the app.
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability.
- To display advertising, including through third-party ad networks.
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for profiling outside of the app's intended features.
Third-party services
Qiz uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Crashlytics) — firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Google AdMob — policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Play Services — policies.google.com/privacy
- Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery) — cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Children's privacy
Qiz is intended for a general audience. The app is not specifically directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
Data retention
Anonymous account data and gameplay statistics are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting support@qiz.education. Crash reports are automatically discarded by Firebase after 90 days.
Your rights
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction with comparable data protection laws, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To exercise these rights, contact support@qiz.education.
Security
Data in transit between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, but no system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently revised. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or on this page.
